Safe Working Practice
Because of the nature of the work we undertake, particularly on petrol forecourts, WGH have a strong commitment to Health & Safety matters, to protect the public, client employees and our own work force. We also take environmental issues very seriously and we have a responsible approach to avoiding contamination and pollution of property and personnel. We also promote recycling of materials.
All operatives, whether directly or indirectly employed, are issued with a Code of Practice that contains comprehensive coverage of Health & Safety responsibilities, safe working practices and generic Method Statements.
In addition we provide a full range of specific Method Statements and Risk Assessments, together with coverage of COSHH requirements.
Training
All our operatives attend regular training courses in procedures and use of equipment for Health & Safety purposes. Most of our operatives are also certified to operate plant and equipment in accordance with CITB schemes.
Sub Contractors We only employ approved
sub-contractors who are well established and reputable. We ensure
that all sub contractors carry the necessary insurance as a guarantee
for their workmanship and any public liability.
Insurance
We are insured with a reputable insurance company for the following:
- Public & Product Liability £ 5,000,000
- Employers Liability £10,000,000
- Contractors All Risks £ 400,000
Waste Transfer Licence
We have a current Waste transfer licence
